Over a hundred findings, brought to Barcelona directly from the Archaeological Museum of Naples (MAN), are on display, including statues, mosaics, weapons, and other objects from daily life at that time. The exhibition is divided into different rooms that narrate important aspects of life in this fascinating city: The Necropolis, the Gladiator Barracks, the theater, and the baths.
But undoubtedly, the most exciting part is the largest known immersive experience, a highly engaging, multi-sensory journey through the streets of ancient Pompeii. Through virtual reality, the viewer will experience the adventures gladiators endured: from the dungeons to the gymnasium, and then a spectacular transition into the arena, reliving the last moments of Pompeii including when the final eruption of Mount Vesuvius took place.
